Our heartfelt congratulations go out to the Upper Sixth who are collecting their A Level results today. Your achievements are remarkable with 67% of grades being at either A* or A. This has smashed our previous record of 64%, set in 2011, and you should be incredibly proud of reaching such a milestone. It is a clear demonstration of the values you held as a year group, in particular the way you helped and supported each other through your hardest moments. This triumph comes at a very sad time with the loss of Quillan O'Meara-McDonald, a much loved member of your year group until 2023, who tragically lost his life this summer in a car accident. Our thoughts and prayers are with Quillan's family and we will be thinking of them on such a significant day. We know that Quillan would have made them proud with his achievements. Finally, we'd like to extend our special congratulations to Will Frost, Moksh Patel, Harry Young and one other who achieved four A*s, and Sesha Amruth, Zayan Asif, George Bailey, Tibet Beziray, Zaim Chattha, Efua Essel, Noah Findell, Zainab Haider, Bharat Haria, Thomas Jerrom, Sajivan Jeyananthan, Stefan Kowalczyk, Eniya Panneerselvam, Omar Qamar, Neal Rahman, Netran Ravishanker, Benjamin Thomas, and James Womack, who each achieved three of these top grades.
